16 kW R290 monobloc heat pump with hydraulic module
The silent high-temperature heat pump
Thanks to a combination of innovative noise-reduction technologies, the EHS Monobloc HT Quiet heat pump operates silently with noise levels as low as 35 d(BA), using a 4-stage silent mode.
The heat pump's outdoor unit is equipped with a double-layer sound insulation system featuring the patented Groove Grid Felt design, which effectively blocks and absorbs noise produced by compression parts and vibrations.
Hot water temperatures up to 75ºC
Many older homes still use radiators that require a hot water temperature of 65°C or more to heat rooms efficiently.
The new EHS Monobloc R290 is capable of consistently supplying hot water up to 75°C for domestic heating.
It can therefore be used as a heating system replacement solution in older homes that used gas boilers for their heating needs.
Designed to work with R290
EHS Monobloc R290 has a much lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than other refrigerants. Just three.
New EU regulations on fluorinated gases mean that refrigerants must not exceed a GWP of 150 from 2025. With EHS Monobloc R290, Samsung offers an improved, future-proof environmental solution for residential environments, compared to other solutions using other refrigerants. The EHS Monobloc R290 uses R290 as the refrigerant instead of R32, which is still commonly used.
The use of R290 refrigerant means that the unit's internal components have been adapted from those of a normal monobloc heat pump. These adaptations justify the separation of the R290 refrigerant from the rest of the system.
