Legal Warranty of Conformity and Manufacturer’s Warranty

CLIMALED.fr, as a distributor, guarantees that all its products come with the following warranties:

  • The legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code),
  • The warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code),
  • The manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.

All our products are rigorously tested before being marketed. However, if an issue arises, some products also benefit from an extended warranty in addition to the 3-year legal warranty.

If the issue is due to a material defect (not an installation or usage error), we commit to providing the necessary replacement parts free of charge, in accordance with the applicable warranty.

Warranty Conditions and Exclusions

Warranties take effect from the date of delivery.

According to Article R543-78 of the French Environmental Code, any equipment containing refrigerant must be commissioned by a certified refrigeration professional.

To preserve the validity of the manufacturer’s warranty, it is mandatory to send us the duly completed CERFA form, signed and stamped by the certified installer who carried out the installation and/or commissioning.

The installer must also strictly follow the installation guidelines and maintenance recommendations. The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Improper storage, assembly, or installation,
  • Misuse or improper use of the product,
  • Modifications or alterations to the equipment,
  • Cleaning with inappropriate products or methods,
  • Use in public or outdoor environments subject to corrosion,
  • Accidental damage.

CLIMALED.fr cannot be held liable in the event of non-compliance with these conditions or refusal of warranty coverage by the manufacturer.

Labour costs, transport fees, technician travel expenses, and calls to brand hotlines are not covered by the warranty.

After-Sales Service Procedure (SAV)

The customer must contact us by phone, by email at [email protected], or via the “Contact” section of our website, by selecting the After-Sales Service (SAV) option.

To speed up the diagnosis, we perform an initial remote check with the customer to identify the likely cause of the issue. This step may avoid unnecessary technician visits and related costs.

If the issue persists, an after-sales form is available in the Contact > SAV section of our website. It must be fully completed and accompanied by the installer’s report, detailing the tests carried out and the potentially faulty parts.

You may then send us this form so that we can dispatch the necessary parts for repair, whether or not they are covered under warranty.
