Since January 1, 2015, the new European regulation known as "F-GAS" relating to fluorinated greenhouse gases and other certain fluids requires that all personnel handling fluids must hold a certificate attesting their ability to handle these fluids.

These gases and fluids contribute to the increase of the greenhouse effect and the reduction of the ozone layer. The purpose of this legislation is to establish rules for the use of these gases and fluids, including their containment, how to recover and destroy them.

The buyer of equipment containing refrigerants must therefore commit that the installation and commissioning of the equipment must be performed by an approved installer.

For his part, the approved installer must have a valid certificate of competence at the time of installation and commissioning of the equipment.

Assembly contract CERFA

CERFA is a contract for the assembly and commissioning of pre-charged equipment containing refrigerants gaz as provided for in article R.543-84 of the French environmental code.

The contract is celebrated jointly by the purchaser of the equipment and by the installer who assembled and commissioned the equipment.

Certificates Capacity Control

On receipt of the CERFA and/or certificate of competence, the legislation requires us to check the validity of the incumbent operator.

You can check the validity of your installer's attestations on the SYDEREP database availableHERE.

Purchases and Orders

If you order products regulated by the standard on refrigerants the legislation requires us to check certain information before validating your order.

This means that CLIMALED.FR cannot and will not be able to deliver the goods without:

If you are a private individual or a professional non-refrigerationist

- A copy of the contract for the assembly and commissioning of pre-charged equipment containing refrigerants celebrated between the installer and yourself (model contract available HERE)

If you are a refrigeration professional

- All you have to do is provide us with your Siret number and a copy of your certificate of ability to handle refrigerants.

We draw your attention to the fact that no sale of pre-charged equipment containing refrigerants and requiring for their assembly or commissioning the use of an operator with a certificate of capacity can be made without the requested document being sent to us.

Refunds for failure to send CERFA will be subject to a handling fee of €30 (including tax) per outdoor unit.

As a seller of air conditioning, we are also subject to this obligation and have our own certificate number issued by Bureau Veritas.
